DESIGN DEPOSIT PAYMENT
We start all projects with a $20,000 design deposit payment and a copy of your property land survey.
DESIGN
When we receive your design deposit and property land survey, we schedule a phone call to review your wish list and design ideas for the home. We will send your round 1 design as soon as it is ready and go back-and-forth together with the design until you are 100% happy with it.
PERMIT & BUILD
Once you are 100% happy with the design, we will enter the permit and build phase. We then engineer the home and create all the plan pages for your building permit submission. As soon as your permit is approved, your foundation gets poured, and Purcell will arrive with your home package.
HOW WE BUILD
One of our key construction methods is panelized prefabrication. This approach involves constructing our wall panels and roof systems in our building facility. These panels are then transported to your building site for quick assembly. It takes approximately 1-2 months to create your perfect custom design.
Once you are happy with your custom design it then takes 2-3 months to have all engineering and building plans ready for permit submission.
The fabrication time will depend upon your custom design and we will be able to provide you with a time estimate upon design finalization.
Onsite an install to lock up with windows and doors in as fast as 3 - 6 weeks. Your entire frame will be standing with a key to the front door.
Purcell provides the pre-crafted frame package and on site installation of the entire building to structurally complete.
We communicate with your local contractor for details regarding the finishing of your home. Alternately, many of our clients decide to take on contracting the subtrades themselves and for many of these clients we offer our guidance and knowledge to make this possible for them.
Every building permit department is different, usually the building permit department will have their current processing time posted on their website. What Purcell can ensure is that we will submit everything required for a fast and efficient permit processing.
Your pre-crafted frame package includes on site installation of the entire building to structurally complete, including exterior and interior walls. Some additional items that we can provide upon request are:

Purcell’s wall and roof systems are extremely flexible to meet any energy requirement that the homeowner or the local building department requires. Our walls start with an R24 insulation and we have excellent details for adding another exterior layer of insulation achieving any R value desired.
Our roof performance is especially impressive as one of our systems that can be chosen is having the roof rafters exposed inside the home. Above the rafters we put the insulation as a complete uninterrupted blanket with no thermal bridging. As the insulation is above the rafters and not in between them, insulation is uninterrupted.
That is what makes our premium quality custom prefabricated homes so special, they are designed to build in remote and difficult areas. When we do your initial consultation we will take a look at your property and get a plan for your build.
